Objective Film over christmas
I have booked the cameras to take out over christmas and I will film my music video on The First Floors practice day which is a Sunday. I will get as much footage as I can so I will have enough footage to edit.

Video example on filming
While I was searching through youtube I remembered a video that is a perfect example of what I'm looking to do when I come to film. This video is actually the first video the band has ever shot which is the same position I'm in at the moment. I have decided that I will use this video to get ideas for different camera shots and see how the video is done in more detail.
From the start I can already see that the video itself has been shot in a practice room or just a plain room which is the exact same thing I have planned for my filming.
This is a wide shot. I can tell this because its not far away yet not close shot. It fits the whole band in moving. This shot is effective because it fits all the band members movements at the start of the video. Giving the viewer a glimpse of all four band members
I can use the band messing about parts of the video ideas for my filming. This is usually very generic in a music video like this but its seen as being very effective as it separates the shots of the band playing to them messing around having fun which is something that teenagers can relate to in a video. Its fitting the same teenage auidence I'm wanting to attract for my video which is 13-17 year olds.
I will have different scenes in my video of the band messing around to vary between shots
Undershot of the singer from All Time Low. I will use different shots like this for example. I will only have the shots on for a few seconds meaning the camera angle will change every few seconds.
The reason why bands usually tend to have a basic music video like this at the start of their career is because they are very low on costs. Bands when they first start out wont have a large budget and doing something like this is cheap but at the same time effective. The only prop used other than the instruments is the coach which was probably already available on site.

Objective update
I have completed my treatment and band bio and I will now start on the remaining ones left. I have added something called auidence feedback which I'm still looking at how I could achieve this. I'm thinking of posting three ideas on my facebook and the one that is liked the best i will use for my main idea.
- Storyboard
- Album cover research
- Draft Album cover
- Audience feedback - Done by Friday
