Magazine First Draft

This is the first idea out of the three I have come up with. I Decided on the name "Collapse" Which came out of a song from an album

The Layout is basic but I will be using something like i have done at the top with smaller band news located at the top.

I like the idea of having the biggest news bigger than the rest with the other news getting smaller as it goes down.

How Defont.com works

I found Defont.com using Google.com which I used to make a logo of the band I wanted on my first magazine practise. The reason why I used this site is because it creates the logo on the spot and they have a lot larger surply of fonts than the ones that are intergreated in to the computers.

I will be doing a mainstream magazine because thats what is the most popular and the type of music genre I will be basing my magazine around is a lot more mainstream.

A mainstream magazine is a magazine aimed for readers that are wanting to find out about more popular bands. For example Kerrang which is read by millions of people. Also another exam why Kerrang is mainstream is because it covers different types of music. A Niche magazine is a smaller based magazine that only usually covers one type of music. An example would be terrorizer
