Analysing the front cover of a music magazine
The masthead, uses a large font and it looks gritty making it feel kind of metal. The red colour and white outline of the Kerrang logo makes it looks like the logo is cracking, and so it splashes out to the audience, showing which magazine it is.
Kerrang is based mostly around punk music and is futher sterotyped to the main picture.The main cover picture is of the band Avenged Sevenfold. They are positioned like they are the best and giving off a rebelious posture.
The Main Coverline is a lot bigger font size than the rest of the text. The ancorage fits in with the picture. "The Stunning Re-Beirth Of Amricans Toughest Gang" This adds to the picture of showing them that they are rebleious. This text is bright and is made to stand out as the reader sees the picture so the reader can put two and two together and see where they are coming from the rebelious side. This shows its based around the auidence of teenages
